Re: hypo-thydoidism and eye deteriation
Thu, August 30, 2007 - 12:09 PMI have always had a slight astigmatism and noticed that in the last few years I would get eye fatigue more easily. I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and started meds. it will be interesting to see if my eye fatigue will improve. what kind of vision problems do you have ?

Re: hypo-thydoidism and eye deteriation
Thu, August 30, 2007 - 12:11 PMoh, wearing glasses helps too, of course. it was just interesting that in the past I was able to compensate for my vision impairment without glasses, and now I can't as well.

Re: hypo-thydoidism and eye deteriation
Fri, July 11, 2008 - 8:52 PMHi, New here nice to meet yall.
I've been on meds for Hypothyroidism for decades (levoxyl).
In the last 5 yrs or so my vision has been rapidly deteriorating.
I had no idea thyroid played a roll in vision issues.
I can't see far, I can't see close, sometimes things are just
plain blurry as ...
Does this have something to do with if you're on meds or not?
I take my meds daily like clockwork..
